Day 297 - Prayer for Others Growing the Faith

Don't forget that prayer for others working to grow the faith will help them achieve their mission.

But the Lord is true, who will give you strength and keep you safe from evil.

And we have faith in the Lord about you, that you are doing and will do the things about which we give you orders.

And may your hearts be guided by the Lord into the love of God and quiet waiting for Christ. (2 Thessalonians 3.3-5 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

Prayer for others growing the faith and the body of believers is vital. It is our responsibility to pray for those who serve the Lord. From the time of the apostles and through all time, we have been encouraged to pray with sincere desire and joy that their missions will be enriched and fostered through the Lord. Pray for their peace and safety, their families, and their health. Their service to the Lord and his kingdom on earth is essential for all of us and our missions. Pray their anxieties and fears are eliminated and replaced with confidence in the Lord.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I ask that you help everyone who believes in and serves your mission. Allow them to find peace and joy when troubled or in peril. Enable them to see you in their work and to feel happiness in remembering that the Lord's joy increases as each new believer is found and brought to you and precious Jesus. Allow us all to focus on the important and help us bypass that which is not ours to change. Protect us from evil, peril, and those trying to stop our mission. I am your servant, Lord, today and always. Through your love, my faith in you, and the courage you put in my heart and soul, I am confident we will change the world in extraordinary ways. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
