Don't forget to invite the Holy Spirit and bring the Lord into your conversations with others.
For though I am not present in the flesh, still I am with you in the spirit, seeing with joy your order, and your unchanging faith in Christ.
As, then, you took Christ Jesus the Lord, so go on in him,
Rooted and based together in him, strong in the faith which the teaching gave you, giving praise to God at all times.
Take care that no one takes you away by force, through man's wisdom and deceit, going after the beliefs of men and the theories of the world, and not after Christ: (Colossians 2.4-8 Colossians Bible in Basic English (BBE))
When you speak of the Lord, put yourself in his presence; when you do, he will assist you with meaningful words for those around you to hear. Words are essential for you to acknowledge and remember. He will use you. At times, you may wonder where that thought came from. If you are with the Lord, it is most likely you are hearing the voice of the Lord through the Holy Spirit. Ever present, the Holy Spirit is ready to guide you if you listen and are willing to act with the words. Consider the beauty of the voice of the Holy Spirit. The creator within you speaks to you with a beautiful voice, sweet yet compelling, honest and guiding, helpful and challenging at the same time.
Not everything you hear will please you but try hard not to refuse what you hear. By listening and acting, your strength is multiplied. The Lord's power is not insignificant. The conviction you share with the help of the Holy Spirit will be compelling to those who see and hear. Through working together, others will listen, learn, and change.
Prayer:
Lord, make me an instrument of your will and voice. Sweet Lord, fill my mind with the voice of the Holy Spirit. I ask you to remind me constantly to invite the Holy Spirit and bring you, Lord, into my conversations. Enable the Holy Spirit to place the words I need into my heart and mind. Challenge me as you must to do your wishes. Your goals are my goals today. I believe with my whole being that this is the life I want to live, and I sincerely want to help others feel the same. I am convinced this is how we find joy in life. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
