Do you understand that you have great beauty despite any imperfections you believe you have?
In whom you, having been given the true word, the good news of your salvation, and through your faith in him, were given the sign of the Holy Spirit of hope,
Which is the first-fruit of our heritage, till God gets back that which is his, to the praise of his glory.
For this cause I, having had news of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and which you make clear to all the saints,
Give praise without end for you, keeping you in mind in my prayers;
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
And that having the eyes of your heart full of light, you may have knowledge of what is the hope of his purpose, what is the wealth of the glory of his heritage in the saints,
And how unlimited is his power to us who have faith, as is seen in the working of the strength of his power, (Ephesians 1.13-19 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
You are beautiful, despite your thoughts of any imperfection you believe you have. You have no blemish in Jesus Christ's vision. No scars, no frailty, no failure. All he sees is his deep love for you. You are whole and beautiful in his eyes. More precious than any gem would be to a jeweler. Even before we accept him, he feels this way. No shame, fear, or sorrow is too great; his compassion is as wide as the earth is round and more. He loves all and grieves only when a sheep is lost. God seals us with the Holy Spirit to further bless us so that we might always discern our true path and reason the truth of any situation.
Ephesians 1 tells us the Holy Spirit is the first layer of our inheritance, meaning there is so much more to come. The joy of this thought is almost unbearable in its promise and sweetness. The good has only just begun. As the Spirit helps us to know and understand our Father, our peace and contentment will also grow. As we evolve, others may see and desire the same. Share openly, willingly, and earnestly. Their spiritual lives may depend on your testimony. Share, not push, entertain, and inspire, not bully; speak from the heart and your understanding, and people will listen. As it is said, actions speak louder than words, but in this case, words reflecting actions of faith and genuine belief talk to the mind and heart of another when the Spirit is with you.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, please bless everyone I encounter today. Touch them and open their minds and hearts to your love and guidance. Please give me your words to help me bring the lost or questioning to our Father. They need him, and he patiently waits for their acceptance of his son, Jesus Christ. I pray I can expand the kingdom and be all that the Lord, Jesus, and you, the Holy Spirit, know I am to be. I love you all uniquely, yet knowing you are three in one. Thank you for the many blessings in my life and for enabling me to bless others. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
