Day 275 - The Call of the Light: Overcoming Darkness and Moving Forward

You were chosen to overcome darkness and move forward.

Although the world sometimes seems dark, do you see the ray of light within the darkness? Do you feel drawn to the light, or do you feel yourself being pulled into the void? The time has come for you to let the light pull you forward. Choose to overcome darkness and move forward with your faith. Muster your strength and persevere, for you are good and chosen. You are and have been selected to seek the light and become part of an ever-growing beam of brilliance and grace on earth. You were chosen. You have only to choose.

Merriam-Webster online defines choose as:

To select freely and after consideration. To make a selection.

You were chosen, you are among the chosen, you are a member of Christ's family. God chose you before you were born. You are chosen. You have the choice to ignore the darkness, let his light, and yours bring the Son to all darkness for eternity.

Prayer:

Lord, you chose me, and I am humbled and grateful. I chose you also to be my light, my center of everything. Shine your brilliance into the darkness in my life and empower me to be your agent of life, light, and goodness to others. I walk with you with immense gratitude and serve with all the love and grace you have given me. Help me always to do so and to be reminded that my choice is to remain with you and rejoice in your choosing of me. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen
