Finding Your Creative BonesĀ® 365-Day Devotional Ā© 2023
Do you accept your role to support and gently encourage others?
When you see another person tempted to do wrong, gently encourage and help them change their mind. Be cautious, though, as you could become tempted also. You might be able to change them by approaching them gently from a place of kindness and concern. To help them with what matters, call on the Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide you and them. He has all the power, and you are the instrument that helps him.
Because he who puts in the seed of the flesh will of the flesh get the reward of death; but he who puts in the seed of the Spirit will of the Spirit get the reward of eternal life.
And let us not get tired of well-doing; for at the right time we will get in the grain, if we do not give way to weariness.
So then, as we have the chance, let us do good to all men, and specially to those who are of the family of the faith. (Galatians 6.8-10 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, you speak to me more often than I realize. You are the one who suggests when I should gently encourage others to take another path and make another choice. You guide me and provide the Fruits of the Spirit so I can feel, demonstrate, and take action for our Lord. You are that little voice and strong pull for justice and right within me. You are also that comforting voice helping me seek the Lord and Jesus when I am most in need. I thank you, Holy Spirit, and ask that you continue to guide me and my decisions all my life. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen

Lord, you are that little voice and strong pull for justice and right within me. Thank you.
