Paul tells us of being foolish for Christ. Are you foolish for Christ?

I say again, Let me not seem foolish to anyone; but if I do, put up with me as such, so that I may take a little glory to myself. What I am now saying is not by the order of the Lord, but as a foolish person, taking credit to myself, as it seems. Seeing that there are those who take credit to themselves after the flesh, I will do the same. For you put up with the foolish gladly, being wise yourselves. You put up with a man if he makes servants of you, if he makes profit out of you, if he makes you prisoners, if he puts himself in a high place, if he gives you blows on the face. I say this by way of shaming ourselves, as if we had been feeble.
But if anyone puts himself forward (I am talking like a foolish person), I will do the same. Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they of Israel? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.
Are they servants of Christ? (I am talking foolishly) I am more so; I have had more experience of hard work, of prisons, of blows more than measure, of death. (2 Corinthians 11.16-23.1 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

Paul tells us of being foolish for Christ. He goes on this Scripture to talk about how many times he put himself at risk of death and harm in his efforts to tell others about Jesus. Are you foolish for Christ? Leaving yourself open to mocking, criticism, and disbelief? Perhaps you are "Christ's fool". No shame exists in this title. Only knowledge that the Lord is the creator, king, and magnificent God and Jesus is the path to redemption, salvation, and complete joy in knowing that your fate is secure. Your earthly life will be as Heaven on Earth, for the kingdom exists here and now if you accept it wholeheartedly.

Prayer:

Precious Lord of all that is light make me a fool for you and your beloved son, Jesus Christ. Let me take the necessary risks to proclaim your glory wherever I can. Please help me during my journey to be courageous and bravely shout your gifts to any who will listen. Lord, help me live the life you call me to with a countenance that brings others to learn about you. Free my lips to speak the truths that will bring their hearts to you. Let me live in your will and always do for you as a fool. A fool for truth and light. Amen.

What an interesting blog today.

AND, the tangle is so different than I have seen.

Here's my take-away: Free my lips to speak the truths that will bring their hearts to you.
