I pray for your help. Only You, Heavenly Father, can make a difference in their lives.
Nebuchadnezzar was the 2nd King of Babylon with the name Nebuchadnezzar. He was responsible for conquering Judah and destroying Jerusalem. He was one of the cruelest Kings and enslaved the Jewish people. He was known to be very arrogant and used vengeance as his weapon against all of his neighbors. He didn't go into battle himself. He always sent others who were as arrogant as he was. None would listen to God.
Do you know anyone like this? Unfortunately, many are unwilling to change when asked to consider a different way or viewpoint. We can be so stubborn as humans. Filled with the arrogance of believing they are always right. If we know someone like this, we should consider focusing our energy on praying for them.
Pray for wisdom, guidance, the strength of character, open ears, and anything else you believe the person needs to reconsider their current life. By reaching out to our Lord for another or yourself, you are offering an opportunity for things to be made right by God. Intercede and pray with an open heart. God's will be done.
Prayer:
God of all-knowing and understanding, I come before you today with the desire to turn evil into good, pain into blessings, and fear into courage. I ask you to grant me the strength and words to pray for those who need you to replace the evil in their life, minds, and hearts with joy, tolerance, and understanding. Help them find your light and eliminate the darkness they are shrouded in. Help them question themselves and their motives. Help them fight the evil that is taking their very life away. Help them accept your love and the healing you bring with that love. Only you, Heavenly Father, can make a difference in their lives, and I trust that you will when it can be done. Amen.
