On the forty-first day of the Finding Your Creative Bones® devotional, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I drew the tangle LAYRD. LAYRD was drawn with the thought that each of us is layer upon layer of understanding and faith built throughout our lives.
LAYRD looks a bit like a layer cake and, as such, doesn't fit the norm of being a non-representational tangle. The image of a layered cake fit the devotion, which was the image the Lord gave me, so I went with it.

Within the Day 41 blog and book, I tangled LAYRD on a watercolor background, shown below. I love the simplicity of a single tangle on a Golden QoR watercolor background using a Micron 01 fine liner. The step-out also uses a red Micron 01 fine liner.
