Day 57 - The Earth will Pass Away One Day. Yet God will Never End His Love for Us

Finding Your Creative Bones® 365-Day Devotional © 2023

This life and earth will end. Thankfully, God will never end his love for us.

You, Lord, at the first did put the earth on its base, and the heavens are the works of your hands: They will come to their end; but you are for ever; they will become old as a robe; They will be rolled up like a cloth, even like a robe, and they will be changed: but you are the same and your years will have no end. (Hebrews 1.10-12 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

The Lord created all things, including you. He has always been here for humankind and always will be. His never-ending love for us and the gift of the sacrifice of Jesus will never wane or stop being available to all who accept it. If we could mirror the Lord's faith in us in a small way, imagine the happiness you can feel today, and when you meet the eternity, you will cherish forever.

Each day you are blessed with a new start. Remember your commitment to Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for you and all humanity. Your belief will bring a future you can only dream of.

Prayer:

Loving God,

Scripture tells us our world will not last forever, yet I know my God would never end his love for us. Your love is forever.

Grant me the understanding of how to love, even in a small way, as if my love will never end. Allow me to learn from imitating you and Jesus. Make my heart so large that I never feel it is complete and know there is still another who I need to love to fulfill my destiny. Help me see love is my currency to survive happily. Your love strengthens me and makes it easier to continue to walk the path I am called to. My love is to help others stand in awe of your majesty and grow their desire to commit to Jesus. My currency is yours. Help me spend my love on others who need you. I love you, Lord, and thank you, Jesus, for your gift of loving sacrifice and instruction on how we should live. Amen.
