Day 294 - Being Among Those Ready for the Day Jesus Returns

Do you consider whether you are ready for the day Jesus returns?

We wait for the coming of the Lord. There are those who believe it will be soon, while others believe it will never occur. What have no promise of when, but if you believe in the Lord, the day will come. Through our belief in the Lord and the redemption of Jesus Christ, it is our duty to be ready. Be ready as if the time is in the next hour. We do not want to find ourselves not among those rising after those who were asleep. It is a precious thought that those who died as believers are taken to the Lord's breast first. Ensure you are next and feel confident that you will be among the living whom Jesus greets on his return. Be ready.

Prayer:

Lord, help me prepare for your return. I will do my work and best to be ready for the day Jesus returns. I turn over my sin, my angst, my everything that is not of you to you. Heal me and continually ask the Holy Spirit to guide, alert me to, and protect me from evil. I do not want anyone I know to be among the non-believers on the day of judgment. I love you and will do everything in my ability to serve you and all people by sharing, exhibiting, and acting on my faith. Walk with me and carry me when needed until I am home with you. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
