Keep your focus on others and bring them to Christ and the Lord.

My soul is tired of life; I will let my sad thoughts go free in words; my soul will make a bitter outcry. I will say to God, Do not put me down as a sinner; make clear to me what you have against me. (Job 10.1-2 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
And the curtain of the Temple was parted in two from end to end; and there was an earth-shock; and the rocks were broken; And the resting-places of the dead came open; and the bodies of a number of sleeping saints came to life; And coming out of their resting-places, after he had come again from the dead, they went into the holy town and were seen by a number of people. Now the captain and those who were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earth-shock and the things which were done, were in great fear and said, Truly this was a son of God. (Matthew 27. 51-54 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

Job laments, the disciples doubt, and Jesus returns to life. Who among us has not been Job or the disciples in our reaction to what life brings us? Yet Jesus makes it clear where our focus should be. Not on ourselves. Instead, we should focus on others and bring them to Christ and the Lord. We are to be the miners in the world, excavating those that are beyond precious and bringing them to Christ. Your primary role in life is to expand the kingdom in every action you take. Whether at school, work, or with family. Your mission is to respond to the mystery of the Lord, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit with a zeal like a fever burning hotter and hotter.

And Jesus came to them and said, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go then, and make disciples of all the nations, giving them baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to keep all the rules which I have given you: and see, I am ever with you, even to the end of the world. (Matthew 28.18-21 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

Prayer:

Loving God, who provided his wondrous Son for us so that we can join you in Heaven one day. Thank you! Holy Spirit, guide me with your whispers in ways I can continue to grow and expand Christ's foothold in this world. Please save me from the temptation of tomorrow and help me remember today is what matters, and act upon that knowledge. I love you, Jesus, and ask that you walk with me all the days of my life, continue educating me, and softening my hard edges. They are not from you. I want to exhibit and use only what is of you and your Father to do your will. Amen.
