What do you have in common with the rich young man who desired Heaven?
And Jesus said to his disciples, Truly I say to you, It is hard for a man with much money to go into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, It is simpler for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a man with much money to go into the kingdom of God. And the disciples, hearing this, were greatly surprised, saying, Who then may have salvation? And Jesus, looking at them, said, With men this is not possible; but with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19.23-26 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
But a great number who are first will be last, and some who are last will be first. (Matthew 19.30 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
Jesus told the story of the rich young man who desired Heaven and how he became sorrowful that he had to share his possessions to enter Heaven. After the disciples questioned him about their entry into Heaven, he shared a parable about the Camel going through the eye of a needle and the rich man. Jesus tells us that with God, the Camel could indeed pass through the needle eye.
What is it that you keep precious and do not feel easy about sharing? Is it a barrier to your entry into Heaven?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, If there are things that I am placing before you, I want to stop that. Please inform me of the right decisions and encourage me to reconsider when I stray. Lead me to the doors I need to open and prompt me to open them with peace, knowing I am on your favored path. It is with gratitude I thank you for your help. Amen.

Learn how to draw FACADE. Nidhi Prakash, CZT®, shows you how to tangle FACADE on her YouTube Channel @NidhiPrakashArts. Please note that I took the liberty to apply a "tangleation" to FACADE. I flipped the black and empty spaces inside the squares. That is what you do with tangling; you make it work for you, and there are no mistakes!
Read the scripture in context on the Bible in Basic English (BBE) website.
This question I need to ponder upon: What is it that you keep precious and do not feel easy about sharing?
Today's tangle reminds me of a powerful, rich man's tie..........
