Day 338 - I Have Only to Acknowledge You, Lord

I have only to acknowledge you, Lord, to become aware of being infused continually with your love.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave him so that his servants might have knowledge of the things which will quickly take place: and he sent and made it clear by his angel to his servant John;

Who gave witness of the word of God, and of the witness of Jesus Christ, even of all the things which he saw.

A blessing be on the reader, and on those who give ear to the prophet's words, and keep the things which he has put in the book: for the time is near.

John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from him who is and was and is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his high seat;

And from Jesus Christ, the true witness, the first to come back from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who had love for us and has made us clean from our sins by his blood;

And has made us to be a kingdom and priests to his God and Father; to him let glory and power be given for ever and ever. So be it.

See, he comes with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and those by whom he was wounded; and all the tribes of the earth will be sorrowing because of him. Yes, so be it.

Faith is the gentle breeze that silently reminds you there is more.

Faith is the lion that, when threatened or held in disdain, gives you the strength to be steadfast.

Faith is the strength of a giant tree, with branches so thick that a person looks tiny next to it.

Faith is your comfort in difficult times, filling the need like a cloud follows the wind.

Faith is the hope and knowing that there will always be something more significant than today when tomorrow comes.

Faith is the awareness that to reach this place, a great sacrifice of love and gentleness that only the works of the Father could have provided has been made for you.

Faith is the carrier of peace to all who accept Jesus and nurture their relationship with the Father.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank you for the opportunity and blessing of faith. I believe you are there for me and everyone on earth. I have only to acknowledge you, Lord, to become aware of being infused continually with your love. My belief is genuine, my faith grows daily, and your gift of peace expands and fills me more completely every day. If I doubt, forgive me and gently remind me of what I know to be your truth. You are the one true living God, and I thank and bless you, gracious Lord. Use me as you wish. I await your precious voice. I pray in Jesus Christ's name. Amen
