Like most Christians, you would likely develop loving and caring feelings for others.
Happy is the man who does not go in the company of sinners, or take his place in the way of evil-doers, or in the seat of those who do not give honour to the Lord. (Psalms 1.1 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
David reminds us that our company can define who we are over time. We change through association, particularly if we develop feelings for those we associate with. Like most Christians, you would likely develop loving and caring feelings for others, which is part of who you are. It's a beautiful part.
But your strength, O Lord, is round me, you are my glory and the lifter up of my head. I send up a cry to the Lord with my voice, and he gives me an answer from his holy hill. (Selah.) (Psalms 3.3-4 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
Prayer:
God, like David, I ask that you surround me with your glory and protect me from any who would separate me from your magnificence. I know I would perish emotionally without your strength. Knowing you were not there for me because of my actions would break my spirit. Thankfully, I will never face this possibility with your love. Never let me meet a day without you. At the same time, let me do everything I can to bring others to your haven of love and potential. Every human needs your love, compassion, and future. To help them see and know you are what I request. Amen.

The brain is an amazing organ. It has mirror neurons. That's why, people who associate together begin to behave in the same way. Paul puts it simply, "By beholding you become changed."
Thanks for this reminder to be intentional about the people with whom we surround ourselves. ~ Florence C.
The people we are around can change us over time. This is why it's important for us to choose our friends and associates with care. Thanks for sharing this thought and tying it to the Word.
The words 'seek' & 'surround' sing in my ears.
