The Lord has great hope and belief in you. Do you accept the hope of the Lord?
And you, Solomon my son, get knowledge of the God of your father, and be his servant with a true heart and with a strong desire, for the Lord is the searcher of all hearts, and has knowledge of all the designs of men's thoughts; if you make search for him, he will be near you; but if you are turned away from him, he will give you up for ever. (1 Chronicles 28.9 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
It can be daunting to think that God knows our hearts and minds in a way that is far more understanding than we are of ourselves. This could rob you of hope, but perhaps it is the challenge we need to keep trying. He knows us, yet he gave you Jesus. He knows the deep of humanity's heart, yet he sacrificed for you. You had only to request forgiveness and accept the wealth of love that is yours. If God can accept you, shouldn't you fully accept him and the hope of the Lord for you?
Keep your eyes on Heaven and fuel your hope. Continue your search and quest for the Lord. In searching, you will find the promised victory and everlasting life. To stop is to deny your future. Do not give up. Keep searching, and God will know you have accepted the path of your journey and protect you on the way.
Gracious King of Heaven, my eyes are fixed on Heaven. In no way do I want to turn away from your love. Instead, I want to run headlong into your loving arms and the shelter of your heavenly grace. Today my plea is for my recognition of the extent of your grace in my life. Amen.
