Overcome your fear. Sometimes, the action of one can save many.

Throughout the Bible, there are occurrences where one person chooses to do good for the Lord. Then, another decides to ignore God. There have always been good and evil. Each of us can decide what to do when confronted with a wrong.

What do you do when you see something wrong?

Do you turn your head and then bear the shame it brings?

Do you comfort yourself by saying: Next time, I will intercede?

Do you cry at night from the knowledge you were wrong?

Do you stand firm and step up to stop the wrong?

Do you face the fear action brings?

Do you pray for guidance?

Do you do anything or everything that is just?

Fear can paralyze even the strongest, but it does not make it just.

Sometimes, the action of one can save many.

Will you choose to be one?

Prayer:

Sweet Father, you know who I am. You know my heart. I am afraid that there have been times when I let some fear guide my inaction. I humbly apologize. Lord, reach into my heart and strengthen me to never waver in the face of the choice between good and wrong. Let me right the wrong or try, no matter the cost. Let me always make a difference for you. This is my path to security and happiness. When I do right, I feel good and valuable. I much prefer that feeling to one of regret. I turn over my regret for your actions to support your will as they need to be made. Amen.
