Step-out for CR8TN, an Original Tangle by Cindy Rae Fancher, CZT®

Updated: Apr 25, 2023

On the first day of the Finding Your Creative Bones® devotional, I felt led to create a tangle representing our planet, the skies, and heaven. Normally tangles, by design, do not directly represent something so concretely. But I returned to variations of this design multiple times, so I went with it. It is quite simple, but I think it is charming with multiples. I hope you enjoy creating CR8TN.

Within the Day 1 blog and book, I tangled CR8TN on a watercolor background, shown below. I love the simplicity of a single tangle on a Golden QoR watercolor background using a Micron 01 fine liner. The step-out also uses a red Micron 01 fine liner and graphite pencil for shading.
