Tangle Step-out for REEF, an Original Tangle by Cindy Rae Fancher, CZT®

Updated: Dec 13, 2023

On day 231 of the Finding Your Creative Bones® devotional, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I drew the tangle REEF while thinking about how God, with the Trinity, is our protective barrier against evil, just like reefs protect the near shoreline and sea creatures in the area.

My tangles represent a thought, but this tangle fits into the non-representational category.

Tangle Step-out for REEF

I hope you enjoy following the Tangle Step-out for REEF to create your version of REEF.

Instructions to draw the Tangle REEF created and drawn by Texas Artist and Author Cindy Rae Fancher, CZT

I tangled REEF on a watercolor background on day 231 of the FYCB Blog and the book. I love the simplicity of a single tangle on a Golden QoR watercolor background using a Micron 01 fine liner. The step-out also uses a red Micron 01 fine liner.

The Zentangle® Method reminds us there are no mistakes. Only opportunities!!! You can also see that there are many ways to Tangle REEF. Have fun playing with your versions!
