Don't give up your journey to grow and love the Lord. It is a road worth traveling.
Even Paul, after years of teaching and bringing others to Christ, admitted he was not perfect. None of us can be. He acknowledged that he was on a journey toward the Lord, still learning and loving the Lord and Jesus more than before. We, too, are on that same journey to grow and love the Lord, climbing the mountains to higher and more beautiful levels. One day, we reach a summit and glory in the wonder and awe of our Lord. The next day, we begin the sometimes treacherous climb again. Helping anyone we meet along the way. Secure in the knowledge that we climb for all the right reasons. To grow closer to the Lord and to live a justified life surrounded and led by God's will and the Spirit's call.
For our country is in heaven; from where the Saviour for whom we are waiting will come, even the Lord Jesus Christ: (Phillipians 3.20 Bible in Basic English (BBE))
Prayer:
Jesus, I follow you with Joy.
Jesus, I hear your call, and I listen.
Jesus, I know you are with me, and I thank you.
Lord, you blessed me with your Son.
Lord, you give me grace with each whisper of the Holy Spirit's guidance.
Lord, you are my King, and I trust you completely.
Lead me to where I should go.
Challenge me with all the challenges that I must face.
Grow me and my faith to extend far beyond my understanding.
Lord, wait for me. I am climbing as fast as I can.
I am coming, and I believe you cheer me at every step.
Even those times when you carry me because I have stumbled and will not get up.
