Do you have a desire to grow and affect the world?

So take me for your example, even as I take Christ for mine. (1 Corinthians 11.1 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

We should imitate Paul in spreading the gospel, and we too should imitate Christ, for he is one with God, and we were made in the image of God.

Imitation is critical for your well-being and a close relationship with God. Christ was perfect in his relationship with the Father. You will never be perfect, but to imitate with sincerity is as close as you can be. There has never been a human who deserves our admiration and imitation more than Jesus Christ. He provided the model for you and all of us to follow to joy, happiness, and our destinies.

Prayer:

Sweet, sweet Jesus. You are the model I desire to imitate all my life. With all my capacity, I offer my love to you and your Father. Please share your strength and acceptance of what is with me. Please guide me in any indecision I have as I move through the days of my life. Let the Holy Spirit whisper guidance to my heart, and I will do my best to heed it. You and God fill me with the yearning to be more for you, and I am trying. Thank you for my desire to grow and affect the world with you as my guide. Amen.
