March 27 - If You Love God, God Knows You

Do you consider how well God knows you?

But if anyone has love for God, God has knowledge of him.(1 Corinthians 8.3 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

There is for us only one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we are for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we have our being through him. (1 Corinthians 8.6 Bible in Basic English (BBE))

Look no further than God for honor and love. Love him completely, and let nothing else draw your eye from him. Worship only the God of Heaven and make no god of anything else. Look at your heart and become aware of whether you have let other things creep in to steal any part of God's place. It is not too late to turn entirely toward the Lord. God knows you, your intent, and your desires. Rush, do not walk to fix your heart on God today.

Prayer:

Lord, I am so relieved that you know me. I see that the way to you is straight, yet it is so easy to walk a winding path, to have an ebb and flow of feelings and actions of different strengths at different times. You are my only God, yet I know I focus on things of no value to you. I will continue to remind myself to keep my eye on your importance and continue to grow in your presence. Lord, I am so grateful that you are my only God. You know me, and I know that you are a loving God. Amen.
