June 10 - Ensure That I Recognize Danger

Father, ensure that I recognize danger when it crosses my path so that I can serve you for the rest of my life.

No one knows what the future will bring, nor when the end will come. We do know that many have and will deceive our ancestors and us. Unfortunately, our descendants will face the same. A great evil always tries to tear us away from our Father and faith. It is your responsibility to stand firm and refuse to give in to or give up what matters most: your belief. You are loved so much more than you can comprehend. Let that knowledge provide you with strength in difficult moments. The Lord loves you, knows you, trusts you, and treasures every little part of you. So, if you are going through a time when people try to tear you away from your faith, or you feel blessed beyond words, stop and take a moment. Thank God for his gift of an eternal light that shines into this moment, your future, and forever.

Prayer:

God, you know what is happening in my life and what will happen in the future. I place my faith and trust in you that nothing that comes will be unbearable. You strengthen me with your light and illuminate my way with your love. Help me share that love with others so that they, too, may get through the challenges they face. Use me as a guide or in whatever manner seems appropriate to help others. Ensure that I recognize danger when it crosses my path so that I can serve you for the rest of my life. I submit this prayer in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
