Are you hearing God's voice?
Moses heard God's words on constructing the temple to house the Ark of the Covenant. God gave the gifts of needed skills and understanding to all who needed them. He also skilled many in the teaching of others. God also requested that those with materials contribute to the effort. So much was received that Moses ordered that the sanctuary contributions be halted. The Israelites set to work and created what God desired.
Do you hear what God asks of you and set forth to accomplish it? Do you hear God's voice? We each have a mission, a goal for God, and this world's success. We are his artisans and craftspeople responsible for building and creating the world he desires for us and those who will come after us.
Do you hear his desire for you? Clear your mind to listen, and open your heart and mind to God.
Prayer:
Father of all, creator of all, today I am thinking about what it must have been like to know Moses and to receive your requests through him. Moses instructed the people on what to build and what to give as a contribution. I'm not sure I have any specific person doing this for me. But I feel confident that you speak to my heart and mind, leading me in your desires. Enable me to hear your wishes. Help me set aside my humanness so I can deliver. I don't succeed 100% of the time, but I hope that my attempts are heartwarming to you and that you will help me continue trying.
Lord, I thank you. I love you, my life, and the opportunities you provide daily. In Jesus Christ's holy name, I pray for your help. Amen
