To remain in the light, I am reaching out to the Holy Spirit; I seek your wisdom.

Sometimes, we can be so blind to what stands before us. We can be so deep in our thoughts of what we expect or want that we cannot see the truth. Our yearnings and desires for something or someone can lead us to blindness and cause us to forget our truth. We can become sinful, willful, and uncaring of what truly matters.

Yet when we walk faithfully with the Lord, we find everything we seek. Where are you today? Is something trying to blind you and turn you away from God? Remove yourself from it, start running and don't walk, to your truth, the Lord.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, I seek your wisdom. You help me see the truth when evil lurks near me. Your gifts of conscience and wisdom are powerful; I want them to guide me. I like to lean on them as my tool to know when to ask for additional help. That help and answers to my prayers will help prevent me from having wrong thoughts and actions. Holy Spirit, I am grateful for you. With you, I have a greater hope of maintaining a focus on your truth and the truth of God and Jesus. Amen
