February 27 - Our Relatives, Adam and Eve, and Their Gift that Keeps Giving

Finding Your Creative Bones® - Daily 365 Day Devotional with Tangle © 2023 Cindy Rae Fancher, CZT

Adam and Eve, and their gift that keeps giving. It is more than our lives.

We were born into sin by our very nature of being human, and as a result of being distantly related to Adam and Eve. This is true of every man or woman born of Adam and Eve, except Jesus. Only he has no sin and never did. Yet, do not lose faith or hope. Let Jesus be your shoulder to lean on and your hope.

Through your belief in Jesus, you remove the stain of original sin and open your life to live in your faith in the Lord. With this knowledge, rejoice and delight in the future you can achieve through dedication. Do not blink and allow sin to slip into your life. Do not question faith and allow Satan a leg up or a place of entry. Determine to be steadfast and unwavering in your love for the Lord. Be comforted in difficult times by knowing God loves you more than you can comprehend. One of your challenges in this life could be finding the strength within yourself to return to His love if you move away from him. If you stray, you can return to God, but don't wait too long. Only the Lord knows what time it is.

Prayer:

It is easy to forget that unless we take action, we are trapped by the original sin of Adam and Eve and their gift that keeps giving. Jesus, you are my shoulder to lean on, and I accept it willingly with love. I accept your sacrifice and commit myself to you. I also want to ignore temptation as you did. I have faith, but I am weak at times. My humanity screams for attention. Strengthen me and help me understand that I am already strong enough to resist. I have only to make a choice. With you, I need nothing else to succeed. I know this and want to live this. Amen
