April 30 - The Lord Knows When We Refuse to Act

Our secret is known to the Lord, even when we refuse to act on knowledge.

Those who have seen but will not believe must accept that their future is in jeopardy.

For those who have seen but will not act, their destiny may lie unfulfilled.

For those who have seen but do not cry out, forgive me, Father. Their days have diminished light.

To see, yet not accept and take action, is a sorrow unbearable to our Lord. Think, pray, and act; waste no hours for who knows when the time will come, where choice is in the past. Do not live in darkness when light is within reach.

Prayer:

Lord, you know all, including when we refuse to act. Forgive me if I am or have been in that category. I humbly request that you change those areas that I refuse to allow the light into. I want your light and the life you have waiting for me. Guide me and continue to love me through the difficulties, is all I ask. Amen.
