Day 153 - I Want to Grow in My Faith

I want to grow in my faith by remembering Judith.

You will find the Book Judith in the King James Bible Online and in Catholic Bibles. Judith was a hero in so many ways. Judith had unmistakable and unshakeable faith. She had God's favor because she was always a good woman and a genuine servant to God. She became the heroine of the battle between Holoferne's army and Israel. She even donated the rewards heaped on her for her part in the fight to those who needed it. She was courageous and good through and through. She was God's child.

Prayer:

Father, today I pray to be more like Judith in my walk, actions, and prayer. I want to grow in my faith by remembering her in my prayers and daily life. Help me tell other women and little girls about Judith so that they can aspire to be as she was to you. Please help us gain the courage to walk our faith boldly and beautifully that serves you in everything we do. That was Judith; she served with every action and knew you would protect her soul. I want to serve in that way. Amen.
